My pickup time says "between 8:30AM-9AM?" Why the 30 minute window?
Coaches have to navigate throughout the Downtown?CBD (central business district) and French Quarter streets to pickup at the various hotels. Most tours have separate coaches for either area, though some tours use one coach. With the wide range of hotel stops, pedestrians and vehicle traffic it is impossible to give an exact time.
We ask for your cell phone contact number during the booking process so that the driver may get in touch with you directly, should he/she be running behind or is at your hotel and is waiting. To expedite the process, we ask our guests to be ready at the earliest pick-up time, and we certainly appreciate your understanding and patience.
Do any tours include snacks, meals or drinks?
No tours provide any snacks, drinks or meals. However, guests are always welcome to bring drinks and snacks on the coaches (please don't make a mess and dispose of your trash!) and for longer combo tours, guests are also welcome to bring their own lunches and if you advise us in the "comment" section of your order checkout, please mention that you'd like a cooler available.
During City Tours, there will be a short (approx. 20 minutes) break for guests to use the restroom or purchase snacks or drinks. At the airboat and swamp tour dock locations, there are also snacks and drinks available for purchase. On the Plantation Tours, Oak Alley has a full-restaurant as well as snack bar and several areas on the grounds for guests to purchase drinks in the warmer months. Laura Plantation offers light snacks (think chips, cookies, crackers) and drinks (water, sodas).

Great experience. Our guide (Keith?) was funny and knowledgeable about LA swamps. He showed us lots of alligators, including a baby alligator that we were able to handle. We live in New Orleans and had company from out of time and we all enjoyed the ride very much. (Posted on 5/22/2017)

My boyfriend and I had the 6 person Airboat tour and it was fantastic! We had the BEST CAPTAIN EVER!!! I can't remember his first name but the best way to describe him is the bald white dude with tattoo sleeves on both arms. He had all of us laughing the whole time while giving us a lot of great history of the swamps and explaining how they are helping to restore the alligators and eliminating them from the endangered species list. We did the tour as a last minute thing during our trip for Mardi Gras and this was THE highlight! If you can get this guy he will make the 2 hour tour well worth it, having you rolling with laughter and show you some beautiful parts of the swamps at the same time! (Posted on 3/1/2017)

I have been on several swamp tours and this was the absolute best! The tour guide is always the key to the quality of the experience, and our guide was top shelf. His name was either Jay or Jake - he was friendly, engaging, incredibly well informed, and extremely concerned about providing a memorable experience for the passengers. The guide was careful to explain safety procedures, operated the airboat professionally, and was conscious of time. He mixed history, folklore, science, and humor into his presentation. The tour allowed us to see many aspects of the environment that would not be accessible any other way. My grandson loved holding the baby alligator the guide had brought along for the ride. It was a wonderful experience! (Posted on 10/12/2016)
